Who we are

This policy describes how OLsA NA uses information submitted through this chapter website. For privacy questions or requests, email olsana2022@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Membership applications ask for your name, email address, SSC batch, city, state or province, country and chosen membership type. We record email verification, application status, consent and directory preference. Reunion forms collect your contact and alumni details and the number of adults and children attending. Please do not submit sensitive identity documents or information about individual children.

How we use information

We use this information to verify email ownership, review membership applications, administer accounts and reunion registrations, respond to inquiries, and maintain the community. Verification emails and event correspondence relate to the service you requested. Optional publicity or future mailing programs require their own notice and choices.

Member directory

Directory participation is optional. The directory is public. Opted-in profiles show name, photo, SSC batch year, city, state / province and country (USA or Canada). Email addresses, street addresses and phone numbers are not displayed. Members must sign in to edit their own information. You can change your preference in your member profile or ask the chapter to remove your listing.

Service providers and cookies

Our hosting provider processes website data. WordPress uses cookies for authentication and account security. If Gmail delivery is enabled, Google and the configured mail delivery service process email addresses and message content to deliver verification and other requested messages. We do not sell membership information. We may disclose information when legally required.

Donations

Zelle transfers occur through your bank, outside this website. This website does not collect bank passwords, account numbers or card details. Your bank and Zelle have separate privacy terms. The chapter may retain payment acknowledgements and reconciliation records received from you or its bank.

Photos and archive material

Historical photographs and magazine covers from the previous chapter website are preserved here. Contact us if you have a concern about an image, attribution, ownership or removal. Please obtain permission before submitting content featuring other people.

Retention and your choices

We retain information while needed for membership, event administration, recordkeeping and legitimate legal obligations. Ask the chapter to review, correct or delete your information or close your account. Some transaction or administrative records may need to be retained. We do not promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.

Security and children

We use account access controls and restrict private application and registration records to administrators. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Membership applications are intended for adults; a responsible adult may provide the number of children attending an event without supplying individual child profiles.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or practices change. The current version appears on this page. Last updated: October 12, 2026.

Contact form inquiries

The contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message to respond to your inquiry. Messages are sent to the chapter email address through its configured delivery provider. Please do not include passwords, bank details or sensitive identity documents.

Souvenir inquiries

Souvenir requests collect your name, email, chosen items, quantities and optional notes. The chapter uses these details to respond with prices and availability. Requests are saved privately for chapter administrators and sent to the chapter email when mail delivery is configured. No payment details are collected.
